We currently have a position for a Tax Compliance Assistant. Working closely with the Director, the role will be quite varied and full on the job training and support will be provided in addition to support for professional tax qualifications including tax technician and support for candidates who wish to qualify as a chartered tax advisor.

The Role:

The role is primarily a tax compliance role, and the successful candidate will gain experience in:

• all aspects of preparing personal tax returns, including self-assessment, director and sole trader taxes, employment taxes, tax on investments, capital gains tax and personal tax credits/allowances.
• preparation of income tax and capital allowance computations.
• preparation of rental income computations.
• payroll taxes, including processing and filing payroll returns.  
• preparation and filing of VAT returns and return of trading details.
• completing taxes registration for new businesses.

Full on the job training and support will be provided, in addition to support for professional tax qualifications including tax technician and support for candidates who wish to qualify as a chartered tax advisor.

Requirements:

• Candidates recently qualified as a tax technician or those just starting their studies to become a tax technician.  
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
• Excellent organisational skills
