Enterprise Ireland have developed an Innovation Voucher Initiative to build links between small businesses and public knowledge providers such as higher education institutes and public research bodies.
The initiative is suitable for small limited companies with a business problem or opportunity they wish to solve or develop.
The voucher is valid for a 12 month period and covers 50% of the cost of the knowledge provider to a maximum of €5,000 allowing the company to continue with its normal business and the knowledge provider to deliver the solution.
Standard applications for a single company or pooled applications for up to ten companies can be made or a fast track application is available to a company who has identified a knowledge provider or has availed of the standard application on two previous occasions.
