The annual NPPR liability for 2010 was due on March 31st 2010. The €200 euro annual charge per property can be paid immediately without penalty. Late fees of €20 per month per property apply from July 1st 2010.

As someone who paid the 2009 charge you can renew payment for 2010 online at www.nppr.ie by using your account reference code - located in the top right hand corner of your 2009 receipt - and the pin emailed to you by the NPPR bureau previously. You can also add or remove properties from your account. (If you have forgotten or lost your pin a new one can be obtained by clicking on the Forgot Your Pin? link on the website.)

If the property is no longer liable for the charge or an exemption now applies please contact your local county council office.

The Revenue Commissioners have issued an information leaflet on cash registers to all VAT registered customers who deal in cash. It highlights the changes to VAT Regulation 8, which came into effect on 2 July 2008. It has also been issued to cash register suppliers, including software suppliers.

The most significant change affecting cash register records is that each record must now contain the date, time and sequential number.
